Destination Canada: A Roadmap for Nigerian Students Seeking Education Abroad
A lot of Nigerians have been migrating abroad for education in search of more than they are currently getting or think they deserve, and Canada is a popular destination now — and as always, one of my goals in life is to make the information as accessible as possible to anyone who might need it. So in today’s article, let’s explore what it takes to migrate from Nigeria to Canada for education through the lens of my very good friend, who did it and just secured his master’s degree.

Let’s begin —
My friend, who we will call “X”, completed his undergraduate studies in Nigeria and always planned to go abroad to secure his master’s degree. His top pick was Canada because of the culture. He expressed how for most of the countries, he could have considered Canada had the best culture for immigrants from the point of view of living/thriving as well as the immigration process for immigrants, so Canada was always his first choice. It was not a debate compared to popular destinations like the United States & The United Kingdom.
